Friday's bump-in and photo shoots come and went which opened up Saturday for the main show which in turn, led into the launch party on Saturday night. What a BIG weekend it was!
The event itself was really well received among a very wide variety of groups within the motorbike community (I won't say "scene", I hate that word!).
Saturday nights launch party went off with everyone in the sold out room enjoying hanging out, catching up with friends, chatting to the various builders of the bikes and being entertained with the motorcycle related movies playing in the upstairs old style theatre. And then there was the band of the night "Bittersweet Kicks", wow, what a show these blokes put on! High energy, foot flat to the floor from start to finish. It must have been really, really hot under those lights too, with one band member disrobing one article of clothing per song to eventually end up wearing nothing but his Fender bass around his neck!
I certainly can not wait to see what Jimmy and Richie come up with for the next event.
